About Us

DJ Habes has been a growing process for many years. The individual behind the name is Jonathan Habel, hailing from the great state of Montana. Pulling from musical backgrounds of Country, Christian, and Top 40 music as a bass & guitar player, Jonathan took his musical experiences and applied them to setting the party environments at weddings starting back in high school.

Throughout college, Jonathan began frequenting and then working in a few of the bars in Bozeman, MT. From there networking connections were made with the local DJ's in town and grew those connections to gaining knowledge of how to set the party tones in the bar scenes of Bozeman.

In 2018, DJ Habes transitioned from the local country bar, Mixers for those of you who know Bozeman, to the downtown scene, working with The Pour House Bar & Grill, and then into Bar IX. In 2022, Jonathan returned to his country roots partnering with The Jump & Western Roots Country Dance Lessons to bring back Western Swing Wednesdays hosted by The Jump in Gallatin Gateway. Later that year, DJ Habes played into the country music space playing sets at Swing The Bigsky by Saddle Peak Productions. Following that up by performing late night sets at Montana's Head Waters Country Jam! To cap the year off, The Rocking R Bar brought DJ Habes in for their late nights!

Rolling into 2024, DJ Habes was voted back to back years as Bozeman Choice Bar DJ. Building upon established success, DJ Habes can be found at all the big events such as Headwaters Country Jam 2024, Alpenglow Fest 2024, and many others! 

On a consistent basis, you can find DJ Habes at The Jump, Pour House Bar & Grill, Bar IX, and Rocking R Bar. However, private parties and weddings are something that Jonathan and his team of individuals are more than happy to take on as well!
